Tom Drury, Jr. is a 2nd generation thoroughbred trainer based near Louisville, Kentucky, centrally located within about an hour of all Kentucky tracks, as well as tracks in Ohio and Indiana. Our full care facility is adjacent to Skylight Training Center. We have access to the training center's 3/4 mile race track which features the Pro-Ride all weather training surface. The Pro-Ride surface allows training without interruption regardless of weather, including heavy spring showers and the most frigid days of winter. The Pro-Ride surface gives young horses the best possible introduction to race training, and is very kind to older horses coming back from vacation or injury. Our wide variety of clients include small scale owners and trainers, as well as large scale and Hall of Fame trainers like Bill Mott, Shug McGaughey, Neil Howard, and Frank Brothers. Our riders, grooms, farriers and veterinarians are professionals with a wide range of experience, allowing us to accomodate the needs of any horse in training or on lay-up. We tailor our service to the individual needs of the horses and our clients. Because we take such pride in not only developing our horses, but also in developing solid relationships with their owners and trainers, we feel this is the reason that our clients use our services regularly.
